A warming bowl of spiced beef and beans — even better the next day.

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 500 g minced beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 400 g kidney beans
  • 400 g tinned tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp chilli powder

Method

  1. Brown the beef with the onion.
  2. Stir in the chilli powder, then the tomatoes and beans.
  3. Simmer for 35 minutes and serve with rice.
