A fast Italian classic of spaghetti tossed in garlic-infused olive oil with a kick of chilli and fresh parsley.
Ingredients

- 200 g spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 5 tbsp olive oil
- 0.5 tsp chilli flakes
- 3 tbsp parsley, chopped
- salt to taste
Method
- Cook the spaghetti in well-salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve a cup of pasta water before draining.
- While it cooks, warm the olive oil over low heat and gently fry the garlic and chilli flakes until the garlic is pale gold. Do not let it brown.
- Add the drained pasta to the pan with a splash of the reserved water and toss to coat.
- Stir through the parsley, season with salt, and serve immediately.
