No-bake bites of dates, almonds, and oats rolled into a naturally sweet, portable snack.

Ingredients

  • 200 g pitted Medjool dates
  • 100 g almonds
  • 80 g rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt

Method

  1. Add the almonds to a food processor and pulse until coarsely ground.
  2. Add the dates, oats, cocoa powder, vanilla, and salt, then process until the mixture clumps together.
  3. If the mixture is too dry, add a teaspoon of water at a time until it holds when pressed.
  4. Roll the mixture into 12 bite-sized balls with your hands.
  5. Chill for 30 minutes to firm up, then store in an airtight container in the fridge.
