A silky, rich chocolate mousse made from ripe avocados, cocoa and maple syrup – completely dairy-free.

Ingredients

Servings: 4
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 0.33 cup cocoa powder
  • 0.25 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp almond milk
  • 1 pinch salt

Method

  1. Scoop the avocado flesh into a blender or food processor.
  2. Add cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla, almond milk and salt.
  3. Blend until completely smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
  4. Spoon into serving glasses and chill at least 30 minutes before serving.
