Brioche French Toast

Brioche French Toast

  • 1 tbsp butter for frying
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 200 ml milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamonpowder
  • ยฝ tbsp honey
  • 50 gr sugar
  • 10 strawberries
  • 4 thick slices of brioche bread
  1. Slice the brioche bread in 4 slices, about 1 inchthick. Set the bread aside and dry it at roomtemperature.
  2. For the egg mixture, combine egg yolks, milk, sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Whisk until it is smooth and combined.
  3. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish or plate. Place a slice of bread in the mixture and soakit for 20 seconds. Flip the bread and soak the other side.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium low heat. Addthe butter then place the french toast on the pan.

    Cook on low for 3-5 minutes until the breadstarts to brown and caramelize.Sprinkle the toast with some extra granulatedsugar then flip to the other side.

  5. Sprinkle some honey over the french toast andgarnish with some sliced strawberries.
